His delight is in the fear of the LORD, and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, and faithfulness the belt of His waist. Isaiah 25:1 O LORD, You are my God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. TCC PRAYER OF SUPPLICATION
Faithfulness
To Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
To David,
To the nation of Israel;
To Jesus Christ, God the Son;
To suffer and satisfy
The eternal wrath of Deity against our sin;
Who repent and believe in Him;
Ascending to be seated as our Great High Priest
To intercede for us;
And promising to return to reign on His throne
On and over the earth in great power and glory.
We come to You, O God our Father,
Through Jesus, our merciful and faithful High Priest,
Trusting in our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior
To sanctify us and establish us blameless
Until and when Jesus returns for us;
Trusting that You will preserve us from the evil one;
Trusting that You will always forgive our sins
And cleanse us from all unrighteousness;
Trusting that if we die before Jesus returns,
He will gather us to Himself now and keep us
With Him forever – even bringing us to share
With Him our glorious inheritance
In His reign on and over all the earth.
So they may give it
To other faithful ones.
“The faithful and true witness,”
Amen.
